The basic objectives of the institute shall be toorganize under graduate courses of study in teacher’s training programm with a view to producing educationist good teachers of highcaliber ,capable of contributing towards the development of the society.The institute is also to develope centre of excellency of higher & reacherch in above areas.We intend to create and vissuminate to knowledge to help to transform our country into a knowledge society. We want to make the institute a place of education excellency ,not as a mere addition to the list of B.Ed. Colleges in W.B.
