B. ED COURSE DETAILS:
Introduction: B. Ed. is an undergraduate program of 2-year duration. The course specifically caters to the students who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and related fields. It is a skill based training program which imparts knowledge to students regarding all aspects of classroom teaching.
Method Subjects Offered: Maths, Physical Science, Life Science, Bengali, History, Geography, English, Sanskrit, Education and Commerce.
Minimum eligibility criteria for B.Ed. program is a candidate must pass in Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with minimum 50% marks or BE/B. Tech degree with Science or Mathematics with lowest 55% marks with ME/M.Tech degree. The choice of the candidates can be made on the basis of merit in the qualification examination.
